Piano Lessons
The Greene Music Education Center offers private piano lessons at our music studio in San Diego. Current research shows that children who take keyboard lessons can boost their spatial IQ’s an average of 40% in less than three months. Another research study points out that students of all ages involved in keyboard music seem brighter and better adjusted. Piano lessons especially at a young age, can help a student develop motor skills, creative skills, and all around academics. A one-on-one learning environment gives students a chance to set their own goals and learn at their own pace, while having fun.
Age & Skill Level
We offer private piano lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Private lessons are offered for ages 6 and older. Group lessons are recommended for those 6 and under.
What You Learn
Let us know what your interests and goals are, we’ve taught everything from classical, jazz, blues, pop/rock, and many other genres. Our teachers will help students identify their strengths, and areas of improvement and will develop a plan to incorporate skills such as theory, sight-reading, proper technique, improvising, musical phrasing, and much more into their lessons.

Tuition & Policies
Private students are signed up for one-year periods and the tuition is divided out into equal monthly payments. Students pay a flat fee every month for their lessons. Not all teachers may be available to teach part-time private students.
